Johnson & Johnson Vision recently released an exciting daily disposable contact lens called Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day. At Beverly Hills Optometry, we are proud to be one of the 1st practices in the nation to offer this state-of-art contact lens.
Tell me more about Oasys Max 1-Day:
Despite our visually demanding lives, Oasys Max 1-day performs well in challenging environments such as air conditioning, digital screens, and dry environments. This unique lens combines two NEW features - TearStable Technology and OptiBlue Light Filter.
What is TearStable Technology & OptiBlue Filter?
The TearStable Technology provides superior comfort and increased clarity by optimizing the distribution of the wetting agent (PVP) throughout the lens and at the surface, reducing evaporation and prolonging tear film stability. Ideal for dry eye and MGD patients who are daily contact lens wearers.
The OptiBlue Filter provides the highest level of blue-violet light filtering to reduce light scatter and, thereby, improve visual clarity. This often aids and protects against eye fatigue secondary to digital device use.
Anything else I need to know?
In addition to providing maximal comfort and clear vision throughout the day, Oasys Max 1-Day offers additional key characteristics:
High UV protection to help protect the eyes from harmful UV rays.
The lens is made from a silicone hydrogel material, which allows for high oxygen permeability and promotes healthy eyes.
Overall, the Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day lens is a comfortable, convenient, and healthy option for daily contact lens wear.
